The “One Day on Earth” collaborative film series began with 10.10.10. and 11.11.11 as a project to simultaneously film life in every country across the globe within a 24-hour period. Tomorrow, the One Day on Earth Foundation aims to complete the trilogy with 12.12.12.
People around the world are invited to capture their own story on one day. Individuals are challenged to create film submissions with a purpose to:
- Tell the world what you have
- Tell the world what you need
- Tell the world who you are
Filming has already begun in the Pacific. Sign up to participate in this one-day global event here. We can’t wait to see the 12.12.12 film!
“Humility is the foundation of humanity….When you genuflect, when you reach out to someone, when you embrace them, when you’re empathetic, that’s you’re humanity. We’re here together. It’s what the DNA is telling us. We all come from one family. And it’s the most important thing we can do to give one another a feeling of togetherness.” — Wynton Marsalis
The One Day on Earth Foundation was created with the mission to build, maintain, and support a global community of media creators in partnership with NGOs, media producers, and educators in order to create media that educates, informs, and inspires social change towards a more sustainable planet.
